Takeshi looked down upon the scroll one more in disbelief, the The Schichibi jinchuuriki of Kusagakure is being degraded by being requested to complete this lousy, useless D-Rank mission, not only was he the The Schichibi jinchuuriki but he was also classified as a genius. Takeshi was fuming, his first mission as a shinobi and this is what he gets? Takeshi continued wandering through the very thick foliage that shrouded Kusagakure, the village hidden in the Grass. It had been merely just over an hour when Takeshi was standing before a weepy eyed blond boy and his parents who he had visited to get further info on the snake, details that were not on the mission scroll.

"Stupid snake had to run away tsh! Serves you right, for not being a good owner." Takeshi spat as a twig snapped underneath his feet. Takeshi had always been highly fascinated by serpents and they way they hunted, he had even adopted their fighting style as his own, concealing one's self then striking with no mercy when the enemy leasts expects it. "Passing judgement already Takeshi? You should not be so hasty to pass judgement upon others, after all he is still a little brat." The voice came from within Takeshi it was the The Schichibi that had spoke. "Silence I need to focuss." The snake is most probably outside the gate as it had disappaeared only a few hours back which means it would not have gotten far, yet it had the advantage as it is green, very much like everything around him.

Flashback

The young boy was crying hs eyes out as he sat at home crying more and more by the second. His parents trying to comfort him. The young boy had lost his beloved Green Tree Snake Shiro. Tears streaming down his face as he cried and cried wanting his snake back. His parents had sent a request for a team of Kusa Shinobi to find their sons beloved snake. But all they have recieved for help as a young Genin named Takeshi. The boys parents had told Takeshi everything they could about what had happened. Their son Gin was carrying his pet snake around the backward when he tripepd dropping the snake. In that instant the snake slithered away. They also told him the snake would be wearing a bright red collar.

End Flashback

Takeshi continued his mission in solitude with every once in a while the Schichibi would crack a smart ass comment about Takeshi, the mission, the boy and even the weather. Takeshi felt a warm droplet of sweart slither down his forhead from beneath his raven colored hair, his icy cold violet eyes scanning the area scouring the region for a green snake with a red collar. This must have been one of the most obnxious missions he had ever heard of as it was like literally finding a needle in a haystack.

Just as soon as Takeshi had decided to call it quits for the day, he froze in his tracks upon hearing a slithering sound. Something was slithering in the near by shrubs, the sound was then followed by a distinct hissing sound. "FINALLY!!!" Takeshi ignored the Schichibi's cry and slowly lay flat on his stomach in the grass watching and waiting for the serpent to appear. Takeshi then straightened and was kneeling as he formed a small set of handseals. "Earth Release: Hiding Like a Mole Technique!" He whispered, he was going to hunt the snake, very much how it would hunt for it's prey. With that Takeshi hid underground feeling the snake slither overhead with a few yards from where he was hidden underground.

The green tree snake was chasing after a large rat. The snake hid in the grass as it hunted its prey from the grey. Its eyes slowly watching the rat as it turned its face. The hissed shot forward grabbing the rat and started to swallow it hole devouring the snake in its mouth. Its jaw expanding as it began to swallow the snake as its meal.

Takeshi waited for the right moment, if he screwed this up he would lose the snake who would flee instantly or worse turn to attack him instead, yes it was not poisonous but snake bites hurt like hell and he was in no mood to be in pain right now. Also part of the mission requirment was for the snake to be completely unharmed so he had to be extremely cautious when handling the snake. That was why Takeshi had prepared himself and had brought along a small wooden container to confine the snake and safely return it to the boy ending this nuisance of a mission as soon as he possibly could. All this so that he would officially have completed a mission which would be one stop closer to his ultimate goal, yet the time for that was not now. The Schichibi was growing rather impatient as always with Takeshi's overanlytical, calculating personality and was egging Takeshi on. The snake had stop moving up above. It must have cuaght his prey, now was the perfect and only time for Takeshi to catch his prey. With one swift movement Takeshi lunged up fist first as he grabbed the snake and quickly attempted to stow it within the wooden crate.

The snake had just finished swallowed its meal and has curled up to get some sleep. Its eyes went wide as something suddenly popped up from the ground and grabbe dit. The snake flailed about in Takeshi;'s hands hissing and spitting. Its fangs scratched him on the wrist as it was stored within the wooden crate. It hissed within barings its fangs as it was shoved into the crate. A red collar around its neck showing that it was the snake to be captured for the mission.

After being bitten several times on the back of his hand and the fingers the snake had finally been subdued back in the box and it was time to deliever the snake to it's rightful owner even though Takeshi firmly believed that he should have just let the snake loose, no matter what one does you can never tame a snake, they are wild serpentine beasts that belond in the wild. Yet a mission is a mission and that is all that mattered for Takeshi he did not even care if the boy tamed the snake or not or whether he lets it get away. Takeshi returned to the Kusagakure gate and was admitted enterance by the chunnin guards. Takeshi then swaggered towards the boy's house to return the snake to officially accomplish his mission.

The boy was at home with his parents still crying wanting his shiro back. His parents trying to comfort him as he continued to cry never stopping. Tears streaming down his face as he wailed loudly the neighbours beginning to get annoyed by his constant crying. His parents sighed in defeat as they gave up trying to reassure him. Now they just simply waited for Takeshi to return with the snake.
