Personality: Honest, sensitive and loyal are the three words that will best describe Senka. However, many do not see this in her. She is also fierce-spirited and downright stubborn, which is her greatest flaw. She appears very confident and almost arrogant, but in truth, this is to hide the insecurity she feels deep down inside, due to her past and the creature within. However, Senka can never disregard acts of kindness, and though she maintains a gruff personality, due to the way she's been treated by others, she does respond well to acts of kindness, of which she has seen too few in her lifetime.

Once one gets to know her, her true nature is revealed. She is warm, feisty, good-natured (only to her friends and those she respects), surprisingly compassionate and quite shy of any member of the opposite sex who she fancies. She is also overprotective of those close to her, and does not look lightly on them being mistreated in any way. Loyalty is her watchword; if Senka has your back, the only time you won't see her behind you is if she's dead. To her, betrayal is worse than death, and she will gladly die, rather than betray those close to her. Due to her hatred of traitors, she hates Nuke-nin with a passion. Thanks to the treatment she'd received for a long while, she has little love for her village, but she has sworn never to run away.

Senka has a rebellious and mischievous streak that gets her into trouble every now and then. However, this is coupled with an amazing intellect always gets her out of deep water. She loves sweets, especially dango. Perhaps it is due to her bijuu, but she hates seafood, especially shellfish, and will never eat fish or any other aquatic animal for that matter.

Appearance: Senka is well tanned, and has light-blue hair, which is quite long, falling down to the small of her back. Her forehead protector is worn on her head, although it is obscured halfway by her long, silky hair, which falls to cover her right eye. The facts that her right eye just refuses to see, and that her left eye is a bright red are testaments to the presence of the Sanbi inside her. A button nose and small, cute mouth positioned on her gentle oval face make her someone to be looked at twice.

Senka is somewhat precocious, having a slim but curvaceous form and well-endowed bust. She seems to be proud of her physique and shows it off in her manner of dressing. Senka wears a kimono with the neckline low enough to reveal the Sanbi seal. The kimono is cut just below her chest to expose her midriff. She wears some sort of mesh material on her left leg which runs down to her ninja sandals. The mesh is also worn on her arms, although on her hands are fingerless gloves. Senka wears a short skirt with a portion of the right hip cut away and covered with mesh, to show the butterfly tattoo. Also worn on her waist is a sort of thin sash tied in a loose knot. Her weapon pouch is strapped to her thigh. Senka's kimono has two sword sheaths sewn onto it, in which rest two fairly large fans.

Senka has a number of what appear to be tattoos, but in reality are holding seals for the Sanbi. The first resembles the kanji 'kaminari', surrounded by five cherry blossoms. It is placed over her heart and is the design on the back of her jacket. The second appear to be two dragons, facing each other with a sun between them, situated on her lower back. The third is a complex butterfly, situated on her right hip and the last is the kanji ‘san’, on her right shoulder. It is usually concealed unless she removes her jacket.

Senka seems to like piercings, and has two over her left eyebrow, five on only her right ear and two on her navel.

History: Kumorizora Senka was born as the only child of Kumorizora Unmaru and his wife Hana. Unfortunately, Hana died at childbirth, and Unmaru was left alone with the child. Unmaru was a rather respected shinobi, and the head of an ANBU unit. As a result, his life was a very busy one, although he tried as much as possible to make out time for his child. As Senka grew, she came to love her father greatly, because despite the fact that he was a very disciplined man, he still had the grace to show love and care when they were needed. For six years, Senka grew, under protection of her father, and learnt all the ideals she bears today. But her happy life was fated to change on a fateful day.

That day, Unmaru, his team and two other teams went on a secret mission to the Mizu no Kuni. Primary objective: steal the Sanbi. At the moment, it was free in the wilds, since reports had gathered that it had formerly belonged to a small village which, by some twist of luck, had managed to seal the creature in one of their ninja. The village hoped to use the bijuu's powers to enhance their own military might and if possible, become the dominating force in the country. Unfortunately, thanks to Kirigakure deciding to remain the super-power of Mizu no Kuni, the Kirigakure nin, during a battle with the other village, managed to weaken the seal on the Sanbi's jinchuuriki. He returned to his village where, as Kirigakure had hoped, the seal broke, freeing the bijuu. It went into a rage, ravaging the village and the surrounding environs, while the Kiri-nin waited for it to settle down. And that was where Kumogakure cheated them to it.

Ever so secretly, Unmaru and his team, in a daring act of bravery, stole the bijuu, although Unmaru lost his life in the bid to protect his team while they tied it down. It was sealed in a special jar and carried in utmost secrecy home. One day, Kirigakure was waiting patiently for the bijuu to relax, and the next, it was gone. The successful team returned to Kumogakure, where the village received the prize with joy, although a few were saddened by the death of Unmaru. Of course, Senka was hit the hardest. The shock, sadness and depression nearly killed her. But she survived. One day, she was summoned to the office of the Raikage, where she was told by the village council that she was the candidate of the Sanbi, because her father had a naturally terribly strong chakra that made him resistant to genjutsu. They were sure this trait had passed on to her, since her grandfather, Denshi exhibited the same characteristic. She had no choice but to accept. It was a great service to the village, she was told.

The sealing was very excruciating, and at a point, Senka passed out due to the pain. When she awoke, she was in a room, lying down in a supine position on the floor, surrounded by weird seals. There were many shinobi also in the room, and she could feel something strange inside her. What was particularly worse was the fact that she could not see through her right eye anymore, for a reason she did not yet know. On discovering she was awake, one of the Kumogakure elders met her and explained to her that the sealing was done successfully. The seals were made to look aesthetic, so that people would not realize they were seals. The seal on her back was placed there as chakra was generated in the base of the stomach and the bijuu had to be close enough to seep its chakra into her system. Since tattoos were more common on the back than on the stomach, he explained smugly that the seal would resemble an aesthetic design, rather than a jinchuuriki’s seal. Dragons were chosen, because they were legendary and associated with storms. He looked so smart when he spouted that junk, he must have thought up the tattoo nonsense. Senka just wanted to punch him in the mouth. The seals above her heart and on her hip were meant to keep the seal on her back in check; reinforce its power, he said. Senka thought he was just a pervert.

Anyway, life changed drastically from then on. Senka realized something was wrong with the way she looked, and it became plain when she looked in the mirror: her eyes were blood-red. It earned her the name ‘Kumogakure no Magan’ or ‘the Demon Eye of Kumogakure’ and people began to avoid her. Those who tried to pick on her for being different learned about her fiery nature, and soon enough, no one wanted to come near her. Everywhere she turned, she was treated either as a monster or a weapon, and she was all alone in the world. But suddenly, out of the blue came Kumorizora Denshi, who prior to this time was a hermit. When he discovered his son was dead, he returned to the village to take care of his grandchild. If not for Denshi, Senka would have probably cracked and run away. But aside being there to guide and help her train, he reminded her of the values she had been taught by Unmaru, and told her that her father would always live on in her heart if she abided by his exemplary code. Besides, he said, it was always best to live life with no regrets; after all, sorrow only served to make one hurt more And he made her understand that being a jinchuuriki wasn’t her fault. She had to be proud of who she was. As Senka grew older, she decided that she would make herself happy; she would live life and enjoy it. She had noticed that people respected power. If people were scared of her, perhaps they would respect her if she grew strong. It was at this point that she got the tattoo on her right shoulder, to remember what she was and who she was. As if she would really forget, though.

So she began a new chapter of her life. Thrust without choice into the shinobi world, Senka was trained with grueling mercilessness, to ensure she became the weapon she was intended to be. She responded by refusing to learn, despite the many punishments she received. After being persuaded that she would catch the hang of the whole thing and impress Kumogakure in no time, Senka was temporarily left alone. But due to the fact that she had rebelled and played the truant and been totally ungovernable, Senka had lost many years in the Academy. This was the reason for her relatively late graduation age. When Senka became sixteen, she began to learn to draw on the powers of the creature inside her. To further appreciate herself, Senka has taken the formerly derisive name she was given by the villagers and made it her official title. Now she has graduated from the Shinobi Academy, intent on making Kumogakure learn to respect the Kumogakure no Magan.
